Who we are

Our Story

Founded in 2021 by Eryn Ryan, TRA™, The Ryan Agency was built on a simple belief: great insurance starts with understanding the people, businesses, and livelihoods behind the policies. A Southern Vermont native raised on a family farm, Eryn brought experience in business management, insurance, and financial services to building an agency of her own. That background shapes our approach today—taking time to understand how you live and work, explain your options, and consider how your coverage fits together. What began as a locally focused agency has grown to serve clients across New England and beyond, while staying true to the personal, relationship-driven approach on which it was built. From our office in Manchester Center, we help individuals, families, farmers, and business owners explore insurance solutions spanning farms and agribusiness, businesses, homes and vehicles, life insurance, income protection, and annuities—looking beyond individual policies to help protect the bigger picture.

What TRA means

Two meanings. One commitment.

For us, the initials TRA have a personal connection: they stand for The Ryan Agency and also reference the Trusted Risk Advisor™ designation earned by founder Eryn Ryan. Together, they reflect the agency's philosophy and the commitment to thoughtful, comprehensive insurance guidance.
